Retail pharmacy market increased by 10% amounted to 400 billion rubles in Russia. The TOP 15 leading pharmacy chains is growing a little faster - by 12,6%. The main tendency of 2014 is a process of consolidation and work with new assets, which were acquired in order to sustain financial efficiency indicators. As a result the share of TOP 15 amounted to 24% (while it was 21% in 2013).
In 2013 the pharmacy chain «Rigla» remains the market leader. It has one of the highest rates by number of stores in the chain.
The second place took the pharmacy chain A.V.E.: the joint chain with the pharmacy chain 36,6 took a share of 3%.
